1. Link your Exact for Construction account to BarTrack
Simplify your inventory management by quickly and easily linking your Exact for Construction account with BarTrack. Start by obtaining your API key in Exact for Construction. This key ensures a secure connection between the systems.
Next, go to the settings menu in BarTrack and add your API key here. These simple steps will ensure seamless integration of BarTrack with Exact, making your administration and inventory management more efficient.
2. Set up the BarTrack StockManager
Step two in optimising your stock management is setting up the BarTrack StockManager. Here, you simply specify which items you have in stock and where they are located. Determine the current quantities and set whether items should be automatically reordered as soon as stock falls below a minimum level.
The StockManager also allows you to generate and print barcode labels for each item. You can use these labels in your warehouse to keep everything organised and accessible.
3. Book directly on your Project: Scan with the Exact App when taking items out
When you need an item, you scan the barcode or label with the Exact for Construction App and choose in the app which project you will use the materials for. The items taken out are booked directly and accurately to the project and the number of items you take out is processed in the BarTrack stockManager, simplifying your administration and saving you time. This way, you effortlessly combine accuracy with efficiency.
4. Automatic orders and stock updates with BarTrack
With BarTrack, you never have to go wrong again. When a stock item falls below the minimum level, BarTrack automatically orders it from your chosen supplier. When the order arrives, you simply mark the goods as received in BarTrack. This automatically updates your stock position so that you always have the right amount of materials.
